Student Life
For decades, Notre Dame has been lauded for its exceptional commitment to the undergraduate educational experience. Here, young men and women benefit not only from the creative, skillful teaching and mentoring of talented professors, but also from the vibrant, student-centered atmosphere on campus. That atmosphere is most distinctly realized in the thriving residential communities that have long been a hallmark of Notre Dame.
Spirit of Notre Dame seeks to further invigorate student life by protecting and enhancing those residential traditions, which are increasingly jeopardized by overcrowding in the dorms and the abundance of housing available off-campus. The campaign will also generate funding for a new student convocation center, adequately sized to host the hundreds of academic and recreational events geared toward students each year.
In total, Spirit of Notre Dame seeks $130 million to address the following Student Life priorities.
Campaign Priorities for Student Life
Residence Halls
- Construction of Four New Undergraduate Residence Halls
- Renovation of Existing Residence Halls
Other Capital Projects
- Student Activity and Convocation Center
- Renovation of the University Health Center
