Mendoza College of Business
Given its sizable student population (roughly 31 percent of Notre Dame undergrads and 23 percent of graduate students seek business degrees) and the immense impact of business on the world, the Mendoza College of Business has the potential to be a tremendously influential force for good. In today’s dynamic and fast–paced global business climate, the College provides students with not merely an excellent knowledge base, but also a values–based framework.
Virtually unrecognized just two decades ago, the College has risen steadily in national rankings. BusinessWeek ranks it among the 25 most influential programs in the nation and places the undergraduate business curriculum in the top three. Moreover, the College continues to embody the core values of the University by advancing its nationally lauded ethics curriculum.
The Spirit of Notre Dame campaign is pursuing $120 million to build on this momentum. Specifically, campaign priorities have been established with an eye toward elevating the College into the uppermost tier of American business schools and better equipping our graduates to be thought and action leaders for the 21st century business world.
