What is the Sorin Society?
The Edward Frederick Sorin Society is a group of alumni, parents, and friends who provide Notre Dame with a high level of annual unrestricted support. Through their gifts, members of the Sorin Society:
- Provide financial aid for deserving students
- Further our global service efforts
- Enhance academic and student life
- Advance our Catholic mission
- Support our areas of greatest need
How do I become a member?
Joining the Sorin Society is easy! Simply make an unrestricted gift at one of the following tiers of giving:
- Traditional: $1,500 or more
- Founder’s Circle: $5,000 or more
- Legacy: $10,000 or more
What are the benefits of membership?
As a member of the Sorin Society, you will receive:
- A memento emblematic of your membership
- University communications, such as the President’s Newsletter and Notre Dame Magazine
- A personalized membership card entitling you to discounts at select on-campus dining venues, including Sorin’s, Leahy’s, and Legends, and a 20 percent discount on purchases at the Warren Golf Course Pro Shop (excludes golf lessons)
- Opportunities to attend special Sorin Society events
- “Special contributor status” in the football ticket lottery, with improved chances for success in obtaining tickets to multiple home games
