Sorin Society Football Friday Receptions
Where: LaFortune Student Center Ballroom (2nd Floor: stairway access just inside main doors. Elevator available)When: Football Friday afternoons, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Who: This event is held exclusively for members of the Sorin Society and President’s Circle, and their families, and guests.
Admission: Free – no RSVP necessary
Kick off your 2007 Notre Dame football weekends by joining fellow Sorin Society and President’s Circle members, along with their families and friends, at the Football Friday Receptions. From our new location at the LaFortune Student Center in the heart of campus, enjoy the sights, sounds, and mystique of a Fighting Irish football weekend. Take part in our game-day t-shirt raffle, get a Fighting Irish sticker (while they last), and more!
Recognition Society Dinners at McKenna Hall (New for 2007)
Where: McKenna Hall (on Notre Dame Avenue across the street from the Morris Inn)Who: Members of the Sorin Society, the President’s Circle, the Order of St. Thomas More, and the John Cardinal O’Hara Society are invited to make reservations for our McKenna Hall football weekend dinners. One valid 2007-2008 recognition society membership card per party must be presented upon checking in to McKenna Hall.
When: Friday and Saturday nightsSeating Times*:
- Friday - Following the Pep Rally (approximately 7:30 p.m.)
- Saturday- First seating at 7:30 p.m. or immediately following the game. Second seating from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m.
*Seating times vary slightly due to game kickoff times and conclusion. Please check your reservation confirmation or visit http://cce.nd.edu/recognitionevents.shtml for exact seating times.
Price: $24 for adults, $10 for children 12 years old and younger (includes soft drinks, coffee and tea, taxes, and 15% gratuity. Cash bar service also available).
Dinner will be served buffet style, with cruise seating at tables of 7-10 guests. Most major credit cards and cash will be accepted. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after scheduled seating times. Walk-ins will be accommodated when possible. Reservation cancellations should be made no later than 24 hours in advance by calling (574) 631- 3237.

We are pleased to feature “The Dean of Local Sports,” Jeff Jeffers, at our continental breakfast each gameday during the 2007 season. Entering his 33rd season covering the Fighting Irish, Jeff offers unique insight into the history and traditions of Notre Dame football. No reservations are necessary – but plan to arrive early!
