Enjoy tailgate food fresh from the grill, take your picture with a real ND football helmet, enjoy live music and special guests, take in a lecture, and check out our Notre Dame giveaways and prizes. Admission is free.

VIRGINIA TECH LOCATION CHANGE: ​ In order to provide the best experience possible this final weekend, the biggest party on campus is moving indoors to O'Brien's on the second floor of the Compton Family Ice Arena.​ ​ Registration remains $25 for all you can eat food, beverages, music, games, private restrooms, and more! Due to space considerations, we are only accepting parties no greater than five at this time.

Join in the biggest party on campus! Sorin, Corby, Rockne, Order of St. Thomas More, and John Cardinal O'Hara Society members are invited to join in the festivities with food, beverages, music, games and more! With a new location for 2016, this will be the place to be before kick-off! Advance registration strongly encouraged, but not required.

Proud To Be ND Flag Hunt

Proud To Be ND Flag Hunt

For many Recognition Society members, game day is filled with tailgating. For those who find themselves in the lots on Saturday, the Proud to Be ND team will be “on the hunt” for the “Proud to Be ND" Flags. If we find you and you can present your Recognition Society membership card, we’ll hook you up with Irish gear and other prizes, including seat upgrades, tailgate coolers, and more! Make your tailgate neighbors jealous and fly your “Proud to Be ND Flag” high, and tweet us your location so we can find you! No registration required.

March Under The Arch

Members of the Order of St. Thomas More are encouraged to enjoy game day refreshments, a cash bar, and watch the band “March Under the Arch” on their way to the stadium. Admission is free for the first four in a party, and $10 per additional guest.

Onward To Victory Dinner Buffet

Bring your family and friends and join your fellow Recognition Society members for a delicious buffet during home game weekends. Cash bar is available. Registration required for all guests, including children. $45 for adults, $21 for children 4-12. Children 3 and under are free, but must still register. (For parties of greater than ten, please call the Donor Experience team.)

Blue Gold Mass - Law School Chapel

Blue, Gold, and $25K+ level members of all the Recognition Societies and their guests are invited to a post-game Mass following the 3:30 pm start games. Mass service will NOT be held during night games. Registration is not required. Seating is on a first come first served basis. Late Game Day Dinner Buffet seating available for those attending the Blue Gold Mass.

James E. Rohr Director of Athletics, Jack Swarbrick, shares what’s happening inside Notre Dame Athletics and across the collegiate landscape. Accompanying Jack is a guest student-athlete who speaks on his/her experience at Notre Dame. Both Swarbrick and the student-athlete participate in Q&A to round out the session.

Coach’s Keys
Hosted by Special Assistant to the Head Coach, Bob Elliott, and features an insider look at the game's matchup from both a personnel and X's and O's perspective. Coach Elliott ends his session by answering questions from those attending.

Light breakfast will be provided. This experience is complimentary, but registration is required. Registration will open in August and start with Athletics Director Circle members, followed by Gold, Blue and Green members. Based on availability.

Join a small group of fellow recognition society members, along with your personal tour guide, for a peek inside Notre Dame featuring students, faculty and administrators. Topics for 2016 include a look at residential life at Notre Dame, a preview of the Keough School of Global Affairs, and a tour of the Campus Crossroads project. Topics will be announced in conjunction with registration for each game. Limited capacity; advance registration required; limit 2 individuals per registration.

Badin Guild members celebrated their annual recognition weekend September 9-10.  We had an outstanding line-up of programming beginning Friday afternoon and continuing through Saturday morning.  Badin Guild members had the opportunity to participate in a private viewing of Rev. Badin’s Bible, attend Mass, hear talks from distinguished professors, watch a Shakespeare performance, listen to a panel of political science experts on the upcoming presidential election and as always, enjoyed a buffet luncheon at Jordan Hall prior to the Notre Dame vs. Nevada kick-off.

Why is there an entrance fee for the Shake Down The Thunder! Pre-Game Tailgate?

This year's tailgate is bigger and better than ever! The entrance fee will allow access to all of our new activities, including food, beer, and wine.

When will registration open?

Registration for each home game weekend will open one month plus two days prior to game day for our Gold, Blue, and $25k+ members. Registration for all other members will open exactly one month before each game day. An email will be sent when registration is open.

All event information will be housed on this website.

Who is invited to the Blue/Gold Lounge?

$25k+ members including President’s Circle and Cavanaugh Council, as well as Gold and Blue members of all societies are invited.

What events are available for Badin Guild members?

The Wake Up the Echoes Breakfast, Onward to Victory Dinner and Badin Guild Weekend events are open to all members.
