Joyce Athletics Grants-in-Aid

Joyce GIA

What is a Joyce Athletics Grant-in-Aid?

A Joyce Grant-in-Aid is the gift that can shape a life, an annual $40,000 expendable gift to the University that funds a student-athlete’s tuition, room and board for one year. A gift of $160,000 would underwrite a student-athlete’s entire career at Notre Dame.

Why is my gift necessary?

Most of our outstanding student-athletes would not have been able to attend Notre Dame without financial assistance. By giving a gift, you have:

  • the opportunity to shape the lives of Notre Dame student-athletes by providing them the most well-rounded athletic, academic, spiritual, and community college experience in the nation.
  • the chance to be a part of a unique, exclusive group where you can meet, interact with, and mentor your student-athlete.
  • access to the Notre Dame Athletics “inner circle” with invitations to prestigious events, assistance with tickets and parking, team travel opportunities, exclusive mailings, and other communications from the Athletics Department.

For many, playing college sports is a lifelong dream. An athletics scholarship can be the blessing that makes that dream a reality.

Leadership Giving

Receiving a scholarship to Notre Dame is the best gift I could ever ask for. It is the perfect mix of not just athletics and academics, but so many other things that allow you to have the best college experience possible. When you’re at ND, you get this instant feeling of being part of something much greater than yourself. You are a part of the Notre Dame family, and you will remain a member of the ND family for the rest of your life.
