Matching Gifts
Last year, more than $4.3 million was directed to Notre Dame from corporate matching gift programs. And it didn’t cost our donors one extra cent.
Many companies sponsor matching gift programs that amplify the impact of their employees’ personal contributions without increasing the obligation of the individual donor. Most participating companies will match employee gifts dollar for dollar, and some will even double- or triple-match a gift.
Arrange a Match. It’s Easy.
Depending upon your employer’s policy, matching gifts can typically be arranged in one of the following ways:
(1) By obtaining a matching gift form from your company and mailing it, along with your gift, to the following address:
University of Notre Dame
(2) By providing your company with a receipt or acknowledgement from Notre Dame that proves a gift was made.
(3) If your company has a phone match program, please indicate that you have arranged a phone match for your gift when you send it to the University.
Please note that matching gifts will be directed to the same area of Notre Dame as your personal gift is, unless company policy dictates otherwise.

“By using my company’s matching gift program, I am giving Goldman, Sachs a way to support Notre Dame. And, as the Volunteer Notre Dame Corporate Agent for my company, I can help to educate others about the simplicity of requesting a matching gift and the exponential value it has for the University.”
