Football Ticket Lottery Policy
How can I participate in the football ticket lottery?
To receive a football ticket lottery application for the 2009 season, Notre Dame alumni must make a gift between January 1 and December 31, 2008, in accordance with the gift minima listed below. Graduates of the Class of 2008 receiving their first degree from Notre Dame will automatically receive an application for the 2008 season.
All alumni, parents, friends, and the general public are invited to participate in the football ticket lottery as special contributors — i.e., individuals who support Notre Dame with an annual gift of $1,500 or more, typically through the Sorin Society or other recognition society. Special contributors enjoy improved chances for success in the lottery. Learn more about becoming a member of Notre Dame’s recognition societies.
To be eligible for the 2008 football lottery, the University must have received your gift by December 31, 2007.
What gifts count toward eligibility in the lottery?
Any gift to Notre Dame—whether to the Annual Fund, as a payment on an existing pledge commitment, or to any University-sponsored program—is credited toward eligibility. Corporate matching gifts do not count toward eligibility.
